Evocative of the British steam-train era, the Welcome Collection, designed by Matthew Raw, is inspired by the traditional and beautiful tile-clad railway stations, full of warmth, familiarity and often sophistication.
This stunning tiled drinks cabinet is set apart from anything you will find elsewhere. Each clay tile is made individually by hand. In addition each tile is hand-glazed ensuring there is a subtle yet elegant variation of tones and hues across the glazing, as it pools and settles naturally into the clay.
The tiles lusciously continue inside the cabinet when you open the doors revealing a mirrored back which further enhances the rich colours of the tiles. With recessed hidden brass hinges, the doors move with ease and are held gently with a fine leather strap to prevent them from opening too wide.
The cabinet is professionally finished with a fine terracotta grout and features a shelf, a line of bottle cubbies, a large open drawer and glass hanging rails. The main doors close softly on hidden magnets and the main drawer glides perfectly closed at the bottom.
