Annette Mills works with basketry techniques and natural materials to make vessels that explore transitional spaces. Her practice centres on the process of shaping, taming and transforming raw material into form. In doing so, she investigates whether the initial energy, movement, and excitement of making can be preserved within the contained space of the finished work.
