Exclusively designed for The New Craftsmen by Gareth Neal and made by Orkney furniture maker Kevin Gauld, the Brodgar Occasional Chair (without drawer) showcases the vernacular straw work of traditional Orkney chairs to stunning effect. Originally launched in 2012, this piece now sits within the permanent collection of The Victoria & Albert museum as a timeless and unique example of contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship combining in a truly authentic way. It can be made with or without the traditional drawer that is fitted underneath.
