The paper sculpture collection by Jane Ponsford was inspired by nature and the process of walking and collecting organic materials. Jane often revisits certain forms, such as wreaths and stick-like grasses, finding these arrangements help her to collate and contrast similar (but not identical) elements, in a satisfying way. Jane has been producing her own dyes made from found and foraged materials for some time.
Inspired by the landscape of the Downs in southern England, this ethereal paper wreath balances the fragile and complex.
