Watson & Crick Wall Hanging

Watson & Crick is part of a series of wall hangings that depicts scientific advancements, mathematical concepts, and imagery from cosmology. The wall hangings are made using cedar bark basketry techniques which have been practiced for thousands of years to the present day.

All of the materials have been harvested and prepared by the artist working closely with small woodland owners and in line with their management plans. These activities are helping to revert plantation back to native deciduous woodlands through natural regeneration and selected planting.
