A beech coat stand with oak legs by John Egan, made exclusively for The New Craftmaker. The wood is carefully seasoned, sanded and knife-finished before being burned black and treated with oil and wax. Small wooden ‘fungi’ are added as extra hooks, bringing both function and character to this sculptural yet practical piece.
