English Burr Oak Dining Table

The Dining Table, which can also work equally as well as a desk, is made from two book-matched slabs of English burr oak, presented in their natural oak tone. The edges have been sculpted by hand to produce smooth contours. The two-piece dining table top is joined with five butterfly keys crafted from 5,000-year-old English bog oak. Preserved underground for millennia, the bog oak has turned naturally black, creating a distinct contrast against the lighter burr oak. The legs havebeen carved from English burr oak and are secured on a frame of carefully selected English Oak timber. The top and base are secured with handmade wooden buttons secured with stainless steel bolts.
