Small Whisket

The Small Whisket is made from split hazel by basket-maker Florence Hamer.

Based on the traditional Welsh hazel whisket, this basket reflects the long-standing principle of making vessels from the materials found in the surrounding landscape. Functional and versatile, it would traditionally have been used for foraging, harvesting, and a variety of storage and gathering tasks around the home and garden.
